What do I do if I've forgotten my Parental Control PIN?
If you've forgotten your 4-digit Parental Control PIN, you'll need to contact our support team for a temporary master PIN. You need this PIN to access restricted content or change your parental control settings, so we need to make sure it's really you before we reset it.
Get a temporary Master PIN
- Contact our support team via live chat or phone and explain you've forgotten your Parental Control PIN.
- We'll give you a Unique Master PIN that's valid until the end of that day only. You'll need to use it straight away to reset your PIN.
Set your new PIN
Once you have the temporary Master PIN:
- Go to 'Settings' on your PLEIO
- Select 'Parental Controls'
- When prompted for your PIN, enter the Unique Master PIN our support team gave you
- Then select 'Set a new Parental Control PIN code'
- Enter the 'Unique Master PIN' again
- Enter and confirm your new 4-digit PIN
Your new Parental Control PIN is now active. Keep it somewhere safe!
