Why can't I log in to catch-up apps?
If you are having trouble signing in to apps like BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, or Channel 5, here are few ways to fix it:
Check your login details
- Case sensitivity: Make sure Caps Lock isn't on—passwords are case-sensitive.
- Forgotten password: Use the app's own system to reset it. Visit the app's website on your phone or computer, select 'Forgot Password', and follow the email instructions. PLEIO doesn't keep these passwords..
Check for software updates
- Player apps: Should update automatically, but check the Play Store for pending updates if you suspect an issue.
- PLEIO system: Go to Settings > Help > Update Services to make sure your PLEIO has the latest software.
Check your internet connection
- Test other apps: Try opening YouTube or another app. If that fails too, the problem may be your Wi-Fi.
- Restart everything: Unplug your Wi-Fi router for five minutes, then restart your PLEIO by pressing and holding the power button on your remote until the option appears.
