If your BetterTV keeps turning off by itself, it's probably the automatic standby settings kicking in.
Check standby settings: Your device has built-in power saving features that turn it off when not in use.
Adjust your standby settings
- Go to 'Settings'
- Select 'Help & Support'
- Then select 'Advanced' on your BetterTV.
- You'll need to enter your PIN when prompted.
- Look for 'Idle time' before standby and adjust it to however long you want before your BetterTV goes to sleep.

How the power modes work**
- Sleep mode: Activates after your set idle time. Your BetterTV uses less energy but stays responsive.
- Deep sleep mode: Kicks in after 30 minutes of sleep mode. The LED light turns off completely to save maximum energy.
This is an energy-saving feature doing what it's supposed to do. Just press the power button on your remote to wake your BetterTV from either mode. It'll start up normally and show the blue LED light.
