Get your mesh network running in minutes

Setting up BetterWiFi is straightforward - just follow the steps for your router type below.

​First you'll need to make sure your router type is Black Technicolor DGA0122 Router

Step 1: Prepare for pairing**

1. Place your mesh node close to your Technicolor router
2. Connect the mesh node to power and wait 30 seconds
3. The top light should start flashing slowly yellow

Step 2: Connect the devices

1. Press the button on top of your mesh node
2. Immediately press the WPS button on the left side of your Technicolor router
3. Watch for these lights:

• Mesh node light flashes green
• Router WPS light flashes orange
• Wait 2-3 minutes for pairing to complete
• Success! The mesh node light will turn solid orange

Step 3: Find the perfect spot

1. Move your mesh node to where you need better Wi-Fi coverage
2. Aim for halfway between your router and the problem area
3. Turn it on and check the light colour:

• Green: Perfect spot, excellent signal
• Orange: Good spot, acceptable signal
• Red: Too far away, move closer to router

Step 4: Test your connection

Go to the area where you previously had poor Wi-Fi and test your internet speed on your phone or laptop. You should now have strong, fast Wi-Fi!
