How to use universal Search
PLEIO's universal search helps you find content from multiple apps with just one search. Instead of checking each app separately, you can find what you're looking for in one place.
Search for content
- Type in your search: From your PLEIO home screen, go to the Search icon in the top-left corner and use the on-screen keyboard to type what you're looking for.
- Voice search: Select the microphone icon next to the search bar and speak into your remote's microphone. Your search results will appear on screen.
How your results are organised
Your search results will be intelligently organised to help you find the content you want as quickly as possible. They will be organised in the following order:
- On Freely: Shows and movies available on-demand from Freely catch-up players (BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, Channel 5)
- On Streaming Apps: Content from third-party apps you've installed, like Netflix, Prime Video, or Rakuten TV
- In Games: Relevant titles from the 200+ cloud games catalogue, ready to stream instantly
- Live on Freely: Upcoming programmes on the 100+ Freely channels later in the week
- Now on TV: Additional titles currently broadcasting live across 140+ channels in the Channels+ section
