You might want to restart your BetterTV if apps aren't loading properly or keep freezing, if your remote control isn't responding, or if you're noticing slow navigation or anything behaving a bit oddly.
How to restart
- Unplug the power cable from the back of your BetterTV
- Wait for one full minute
- Plug the power cable back in
- Wait for your device to completely start up
Look for the blue LED light to confirm your BetterTV has fully restarted.
** Alternative method:** Turn off the power at the wall socket, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
Will I lose my settings and recording? Your settings and recordings are safe, restarting doesn't delete any of your personal data or preferences. It just clears temporary glitches and lets everything load fresh.
