Brsk Legacy - How do I know if my TV is compatible with PLEIO?

What do I do if my TV isn't compatible with PLEIO?

We've tested PLEIO with over 100 TV brands and models, and most work perfectly. However, a small number of older or specific models have compatibility issues related to the HDMI connection standard (HDMI-CEC).

If you're experiencing problems with PLEIO being detected, or if your TV remote can't control PLEIO, check the lists below.

TVs that need a different HDMI cable

If you have one of these TV models, PLEIO might not be detected using the supplied HDMI cable. You'll need to buy and use a different HDMI 2.1 cable instead.

  • LG-OLED55C8PLA
TVs with HDMI-CEC control issues

The models below may have issues with HDMI-CEC - the feature that lets one remote control both your TV and PLEIO.

If you own one of these models, the following might not work properly:

  • PLEIO and your TV may not turn on/off at the same time
  • You might not be able to control TV volume using the PLEIO remote
  • Your TV remote might not be able to navigate PLEIO's interface
