How do I fix performance issues on my PLEIO?
If your PLEIO's menu and apps are slow to respond, or you're seeing error codes, here's how to fix them.
What do I do if my PLEIO is slow or unresponsive?
If your PLEIO is running slowly, try these steps:
1. Restart your PLEIO puck
The easiest fix is to restart. Press and hold the power button on your remote until the restart option appears on screen. Alternatively:
- Unplug the power cable from the back of your PLEIO
- Wait 30 seconds
- Plug it back in
Your PLEIO will boot up and should be more responsive.
2. Close running apps
If you have multiple apps running in the background, they can slow things down. Go to Settings > Apps and manually force-stop any apps you're not using.
3. Factory reset (last resort)
If the issue continues, a factory reset can solve the problem by restoring your PLEIO to its original state.
Warning: This will erase all your settings, downloaded apps, and account information. You'll need to set everything up again.
Go to Settings > System Settings > About > Factory reset.
