Fix error codes on my PLEIO

Here are the most common error codes and how to fix them.

Network and system errors (Android)

These codes mean there's a problem with your internet connection, device software, or app loading.

Error codes 1002, 1107, 2123, 3218, 7003, STA020

  • Message: 'Internet connection issue' or 'Unable to connect'
  • Fix: Restart your Wi-Fi router and PLEIO; check your Wi-Fi settings to make sure you're connected and update your PLEIO software

Error code 10

  • Message: 'Something's not right' or 'Generic app error'
  • Fix: Update the affected app; sign out, force quit the app, and sign back in

Stuck on logo screen

  • Fix: A factory reset is usually needed to clear corrupted system files **(Warning: this erases all saved settings and data) **

'Download pending'

  • Fix: Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store and select 'Force stop'. If it continues, select Clear cache and **Clear data **

Error code REG003

  • Message: 'Registration Invalid Credentials'
  • Fix: Double-check your login and password - credentials are case-sensitive
Freely live TV errors (ETV codes)

These codes relate to the Freely live TV service, channel information, and stream access.

ETV104

  • Message: 'Sorry, Freely can't connect to the internet'
  • Fix: Check your device is connected to the internet and restart your router

ETV401

  • Message: 'Sorry, the TV Guide is unavailable'
  • Fix: Restart Freely by going to another area of the interface, or power cycle your PLEIO

ETV503

  • Message: 'Sorry, Search is unavailable. Please try again'
  • Fix: Check your internet connection and try again later

ETV6011 - ETV6054

  • Message: 'Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later'
  • Fix: This is a rights or server issue. Make sure your internet is stable and try again

ETV8001 - ETV8004

  • Message: 'Sorry, something went wrong. Please wait a moment and try again'
  • Fix: This is a third-party issue with the YouView identity system. Try again later

ETV900 or ETV6900

  • Message: 'Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later'
  • Fix: Reload Freely by navigating away and back, or power cycle your PLEIO
Cloud gaming errors (600 series)

These codes mean there's a technical problem with starting, maintaining, or licensing a game stream.

Error code 600

  • Message: 'Bitrate too low to start a session'
  • Fix: Your internet speed is too slow. Check your speed (minimum 10 Mbps recommended)

Error codes 610, 613, 784

  • Message: 'No server available' or 'Server not found' or 'Server exhausted'
  • Fix: The gaming servers are full or temporarily unavailable. Wait a few minutes and try again

Error codes 611, 635, 637, 770

  • Message: 'Pack/Subscription not enabled'
  • Fix: You don't have an active subscription for this game. Check your subscription status

Error codes 607, 608

  • Message: 'Invalid password/JWT Token'
  • Fix: Re-enter your player login details carefully

Error codes 633, 717

  • Message: 'Game not found' or 'Game not available'
  • Fix: The game may be temporarily offline for maintenance or no longer available

Error codes 612, 703, 762

  • Message: 'Player/Profile already playing' or 'Max sessions reached'
  • Fix: Your profile is active on another device, or you've reached the maximum number of streams. Exit the game on the other device

Error codes 653, 654, 655

  • Message: 'Profile not found' or 'Max profile number reached'
  • Fix: You've reached the maximum number of player profiles. Manage existing profiles in Settings

Error codes 666, 700

  • Message: 'Request to server failed' or 'Data is not valid'
  • Fix: Restart your PLEIO and try launching the game again
