Download apps on my PLEIO
The Google Play Store gives you access to thousands of apps, games, and streaming services. Here's how to find and install them.
Find and install an app
- From your PLEIO home screen, go to the 'Apps' section
- Select the 'Google Play Store' icon
- Use the search function at the top to find a specific app, or browse the categories to discover new ones
- Select the app you want—this takes you to its Play Store page
- Select 'Install' to start the download
- Your PLEIO will automatically download and install the app.
Where to find your new app
Once it's installed, your new app will appear in the Apps section of your navigation bar. Just select it to 'open'.
Keep in mind: most streaming services need you to sign in with an existing account or create a new one. Some apps require a separate subscription.
How do I uninstall apps from my PLEIO?
If you want to free up space or declutter your Apps section, you can remove apps with a few quick steps:
- Go to the app you want to remove in the Apps section
- Press and hold the 'OK' button on your remote
- A small menu will appear, select 'More Info'
- Select 'Uninstall' and confirm by selecting 'OK'
- The app will be removed from your PLEIO.
