Get your Bluetooth device ready
Connecting Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or a new remote to your PLEIO is straightforward.
Here's how to do it:
Before you start, put your Bluetooth device into pairing mode. This lets your PLEIO find it.
- For headphones and speakers: Press and hold the power button or Bluetooth button until a light starts flashing. This usually means it's ready to pair
- For a new remote: Check the instructions that came with it—different remotes have different pairing methods.
Connect your Bluetooth device
- Press the gear icon on your PLEIO remote to open Settings
- Select 'Remotes and accessories'
- Select 'Add accessory' to start searching
- Your PLEIO will scan for nearby Bluetooth devices that are in pairing mode
- When your device's name appears on the list, highlight it and press OK to pair
That's it, your Bluetooth device is now connected!
What can I do with Bluetooth devices?
Once paired, you can:
- Connect a Bluetooth speaker for richer, louder sound
- Use Bluetooth headphones to watch without disturbing anyone else
- Pair an additional remote if you want a spare or prefer a different one
