Can I watch one channel while recording another?

Yes, but it depends on which channels you're using.

How it works

You can watch one live channel while recording another, but only if both channels share the same broadcast signal (called a "Mux").

If channels share the same Mux: You can watch and record different programmes at the same time—no problem!

If they use different Mux signals: You'll see a notification with two options:

• Cancel Selected: Stop your recording so you can watch the new channel
• Return: Go back and choose a channel that works with your recording

Good news: Channels 830+ (internet-based channels) can always be watched without affecting your recordings.
